YouTube Adds Collaborator Tagging to Video Titles

YouTube is testing a new feature that lets creators tag collaborators directly in video titles. This makes it easier to highlight multiple creators in one piece of content and helps videos reach wider audiences.
What’s New
The feature allows creators to add other channels as official collaborators. Their profile pictures appear below the video title, and viewers can tap a “...and 3 more” tag to see the full list of contributors.
Most importantly, the video can now be recommended to followers of all the tagged channels, not just the one that uploaded it.
YouTube has rolled out early access to a small group of creators, including MrBeast. You can see it in action in his recent video, where several collaborators are displayed beneath the title.

Why This Matters
This update could be a big win for creators and marketers.
- More visibility: Everyone involved in the video gets exposure across each other’s audiences
- Traffic boost: Smaller channels can benefit from tagging larger creators
- Clearer credits: Viewers can instantly see who contributed, without digging through the description
A Familiar Idea, Just Better
YouTube has long encouraged creators to collaborate. It even offers training on it through YouTube Academy. But until now, there hasn’t been a simple, built-in way to display collaborations at the video level. This change brings YouTube in line with features already used on Instagram and TikTok.
What to Expect
Currently, this is being tested with a small group of creators, including MrBeast. But given how intuitive and useful it is, expect a wider rollout soon.
